Jim has served as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Hospice of Santa Barbara, the Montecito Union School District, Anacapa School, and the Montecito YMCA. He served as a Small Claims judge for 30 years, as a court-appointed arbitrator, and as a pro tem judge in the Santa Barbara Superior Court. He has also taught the business entities class at the Santa Barbara College of Law.
Rosaleen is passionate about mentoring children in Santa Barbara and has volunteered for over 20 years with Big Brothers – Big Sisters and CASA. She has donated her services to the Dependency Court, the Family Law Facilitator, and the Legal Aid Foundation’s domestic violence clinic. She served on the board of directors on the Santa Barbara County Bar Association and as editor of the Santa Barbara Lawyer Magazine.
Connor served on the board of directors for the Santa Barbara Barristers, whose mission is to advance education, collegiality, and professionalism for members of the Bar. He also served as the Estate Planning and Probate Section head for the Santa Barbara County Bar Association, coordinating continuing education lectures for the local legal community. He is currently serving on the board of directors for Doctors Without Walls / Santa Barbara Street Medicine.
